Tuning at MTR Performance is structured in clear stages. Not to confine you to a fixed framework, but to make transparent what is technically possible and responsible for your car. Each stage is based on the existing upgrades and the intended use.
Stage 1
Stage 1 is intended for completely standard cars, without engine modifications. With a software optimization, we improve power, torque, and throttle response, while all factory components remain within their safe limits. This is often the ideal first step.
Stage 2
Stage 2 is developed for cars with additional hardware, such as a downpipe, intercooler, fuel pump, or similar upgrades. The software is fully tuned to these components, ensuring they work together optimally and their potential is truly realized.
Stage 3
Stage 3 takes it a step further and is suitable for vehicles with an upgraded turbo and supporting engine modifications. The focus here is not only on performance but also on thermal control and durability under higher loads.
Stage 4
Stage 4 is for enhanced engines and is only offered when the engine is built by MTR Performance. This guarantees full control over components, tolerances, and tuning, which is essential at this performance level.
