This APR Carbon fibre open Air Intake is suitable for the VAG 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888.3 engines.

This carbon fibre intake not only looks good, but it also delivers improved performance and increases intake noise (compared to the original air filter). This kit includes a 7-inch cotton air filter (4 inches both on the intake and exhaust side). With this, this intake minimises pressure drop throughout the system and maximises airflow (60% more throughput compared to the standard system). This intake provides a power increase of 12hp and and torque increase of up to 13Nm.

The carbon fibre heat shield keeps hot air forced through the front radiator out of the intake duct.
