This Bull-X mid-muffler replacement can be installed after the catalytic converter of the Audi A4 and A5 B9 with a 2.0 TFSI engine. The mid-muffler replacement can be ordered as a non-resonated version (without damping) or as a version with a sports mid-muffler. This Bull-X mid-muffler replacement is manufactured in such a way that it can be installed on both the original downpipe and a sports downpipe that uses the original dimensions (such as the Bull-X downpipe for Audi A4 + A5 B9 2.0 TFSI).
The mid-muffler replacement has a diameter of 3 inches (76 mm) and can be easily connected to the original exhaust using the adapter supplied. If you have a 3-inch sports exhaust, it can also be mounted on this mid-muffler replacement by simply not using the adapter.
An additional advantage of this mid-muffler replacement is that it has the same diameter as the Bull-X downpipe for Audi A4 + A5 B9 2.0 TFSI. This means there is no longer a transition in diameter at the downpipe. The advantage of this is that the exhaust gases can be discharged faster and more efficiently at the downpipe. The result: less heat build-up around the turbo and an increase in the car's power and torque. The sound will also become a lot sportier by installing this mid-muffler replacement.
The non-resonated version has no damping and provides the loudest and sportiest sound. If you want a sportier sound but also want to retain a bit of comfort, then the version with a sports silencer is more suitable for you. This dampens the sound, but according to the adsorption principle. This results in a deep and sporty sound, but somewhat more civilised than the non-resonated version.
