This CTS Turbo air intake is an open intake system for the BMW B46 and B48 engines in the BMW 330i G20, 430i G22 and 230i G42.
This intake from CTS Turbo provides a power increase and a sportier turbo induction sound.
This intake was developed with a 6-inch velocity stack in the air filter. This optimizes airflow towards the intake pipe. This intake kit includes an aluminium CNC-bent intake pipe. This intake pipe connects to the original turbo inlet and ensures optimal airflow from the intake towards the turbo. This pipe is equipped with a connection for the mass air flow sensor.
The included heat shield keeps engine heat away from the air filter.
The intake was developed in such a way that it provides an increase in power and torque throughout the entire rev range. Due to the size of the intake and the aluminium pipes, the engine also produces a stronger and sportier induction sound.
The intake is supplied complete with all the necessary mounting hardware.
This upgraded air intake can be installed on both standard and tuned engines. It is not necessary to have the engine remapped after installing this upgrade.
