This Forge Motorsport carbon fibre air intake is suitable for VAG 1.8/2.0 TSI vehicles with an EA888.3 engine and EA888.4 engine. Such as the VW Golf 7 GTI/R/Clubsport, VW Golf 8 GTI/R/Clubsport, Seat Leon Cupra 5F, Skoda Octavia 5E, Audi TT/TTS and Audi S3 8V 2.0 TSI (also Facelift).

This closed intake replaces the original air filter housing. It is made of carbon fibre and has a glossy finish. Not only is it a real eye-catcher under the bonnet, but it also provides an average power gain of 5.5 hp. Combined with the Forge Motorsport Turbo Inlet Adapter FMTIA9, you get a power gain of 16 hp at 6,500 rpm and an average of 10 hp from 4,500 rpm. Delivers an average gain of 20 Nm (torque).

The intake is lightweight and provides an improved (read: louder/sportier) intake sound than the original air filter. With this intake upgrade, you will experience improved throttle response and, depending on your vehicle, it also offers an increase in horsepower and torque. With this intake, you can choose between a cotton (pleated) or foam air filter. Both are dry filters (non-oiled) and can be cleaned with the Pipercross cleaner for oil-free filters. When you order this intake, you will also receive the Forge Motorsport coolant hose as standard.
