This MST Performance Air Intake kit is suitable for the BMW 230i G42 + 320i/330i/330e G20/G21 and BMW 420i G22/G23/G24 with 2.0T B48 engine.
The MST Performance intake maximizes airflow to the engine and ensures lower intake temperatures. Additionally, it provides a sportier and louder intake sound than the original.
This intake comes with an upgraded turbo inlet pipe. This pipe is made of high-quality silicone, which offers better flow and is stronger than the original material. This gives you a fully optimized intake path up to the turbo. The connection to the turbo is made via a CNC-manufactured adapter.
The intake can be used in two ways: as an open air intake (for maximum intake flow) and as a closed air intake (for less intake noise).
Check the air filter regularly. The air filter in this set should be thoroughly cleaned every 20,000 kilometers and replaced every 60,000 kilometers.
The air filter is a nanofiber air filter. This intake provides a power increase of 8.6 hp and a torque increase of 15.1 Nm (at 4,000 rpm) on a BMW 320i G20 stage 1 with 2.0T B48 engine.
This air intake uses the original mounting points of the air filter box.
