PERFORMANCE
By keeping the intake temperature as low as possible and greatly improving airflow to the engine, more power is produced, turbo lag is reduced and better fuel efficiency is achieved.
The turbocharger spool can drop almost by 500rpm, reducing turbo lag and providing faster turbo response.

Experience shows that a high-flow intake system on the 2.0 TFSI K04 engine is really worth the effort to gain up to 30 hp on tuned cars, so this intake is best combined with a remap.
Tests with the VWR Cold-Air Intake have shown a gain of 30 hp on a Stage 2 car, or about 9% more effective peak power compared to the standard factory air box.
