This APR Air Intake kit is a complete air intake upgrade up to the turbo and is suitable for VAG vehicles of the MQB EVO platform with a 2.0 TSI / 2.0 TFSI EA8888.4 engine with Continental Turbo. Among others, fitned on the VW Golf 8 GTI Clubsport. VW Golf 8R, VW Arteon and Audi S3 8Y.

The intake has an inlet diameter of no less than 109mm and flows smoothly, via the included turbo inlet, to the diameter of the turbo. This large diameter combined with the front air intake, ensures that this intake system delivers very good performance.

The intake is an ideal upgrade that combines looks with performance. Both for original engines, and tuned engines.

In basic, this intake is an open air intake kit, but you can also order different versions with:

• Plastic lid
• Carbon fibre cover
• Forged Carbon fibre lid
• No lid (open version)

This intake also comes with a turbo inlet that replaces the original plastic hose. This turbo inlet has all connections like the original, making fitting very easy.

This intake from APR provides an increase in power up to 15hp and torque up to 16.5Nm. Combined with other upgrades and a tune, the gains will be even higher.

Furthermore, you will experience an improvement in throttle response and the intake reduces pressure drop compared to the original intake.

A sportier sound can also be heard after installation.
