RacingLine Turbo Muffler Delete 2.0TSI MQB

The VWR Turbo Muffler Delete is a simple and low-cost upgrade for an MQB platform car with the 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 TSI engines with the IHI turbocharger.
The VWR Turbo Muffler Delete is a streamlined single billet design that replaces the restrictive OEM part.

The standard part is located at the turbocharger exhaust and is simply designed to reduce engine bay acoustics. While it dampens the harmonic sounds of the turbocharger, it adds distracting turbulence to the airflow exactly where you don't want it.

By replacing the standard part with the VWR Turbo Muffler Delete, you will replace this restrictive section with a straight and continuous piece. The result: better turbo pressure, more optimal turbo response and your turbo is more audible.

The VWR Turbo Muffler Delete is compatible with all factory IHI Turbos used in MQB-EA888 engine 1.8 and 2.0 cars.

POWER GAIN
By making the output of turbocharger more gradual, there is less turbulence normally caused by the OEM section. As a result, there is a small but useful power gain.

Assembly is very easy. The kit is installed in about 30 minutes using hand tools.
