The 2.0L M 133 turbo engine in the specified AMG A-Class models is equipped with indirect charge-air cooling. The intake air cooling process is therefore not achieved (as usual) using ambient air as the cooling medium, but instead uses a dedicated coolant circuit. A reduction in the coolant temperature therefore directly corresponds to improved cooling performance for the intake air. The newly developed competition racing core of the high-quality WAGNERTUNING water cooler increases the core volume of the OEM water cooler by a total of 78%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surfaces generates maximum heat transfer while also providing sufficient airflow for heat exchange to adjacent components (e.g., the engine radiator behind it). In addition, the radiators are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure long-lasting cooling performance.
