Wagner Tuning Intercooler Competition Kit Audi RS4, RS5 B9 2.9TFSI

The 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) in the Audi RS4/RS5 models features an indirect charge air cooling system. The charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler, which is replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler.

The WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler boasts a novel performance core measuring 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm. Specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of the RS4/RS5 engine, it offers 185% more external core volume compared to the original intercooler. The optimized ratio of internal to external cooling surface area ensures maximum heat transfer while simultaneously allowing for the best possible internal airflow. The cast aluminum end tanks were designed using CAD and optimized with CFD simulations. The result is outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. This kit is therefore also suitable for racing applications. Optimal cooling of the charged air leads to a significant increase in power!
