This Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler is suitable for, among others, the Audi RS3 8V and Audi TTRS 8S, etc.

The Competition Intercooler has the following core dimensions: 660mm x 180mm x 110mm. This provides 14% larger intake surface area and 57% more intake air volume compared to the standard installed intercooler. Due to the size and efficiency of this larger intercooler core, better flow and improved cooling properties are achieved. Flow analyses and simulations have been conducted to optimize the design for the best possible internal airflow. This intercooler is a good choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures. The intercooler is equipped with a ‘Tube Fin’ cooling core. The Tube Fin cooling core uses much less material and can therefore cool air faster and better, and retains less heat under high loads. However, it is important that there is sufficient airflow while driving. This type of intercooler is therefore very suitable for track use or sporty driving, where the engine performs under high load. This Wagner Tuning intercooler has less pressure drop than an OEM intercooler. The weight of this intercooler is 8.3kg.
