Wagner Tuning Intercooler + Watercooler Competition Kit Audi RS4, RS5 B9 2.9TFSI

The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) of the Audi RS4 and RS5 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooler. Charge air cooling is therefore achieved by a water-cooled charge air cooler, which is replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance charge air cooler.

The WAGNERTUNING high-performance charge air cooler has a new type of performance mesh with dimensions 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm. It was specially developed for the high demands of the RS4/RS5 engine and offers 185% more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler. The ratio of internal to external cooling surface area generates maximum heat transfer while allowing optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimised using CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also suitable for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a clear performance increase!
