APR Upgrade Air Intake VW Polo MK6 AW GTI, Audi A1 GB 40TFSI

This APR Open Air Intake is suitable for the Volkswagen Polo GTI AW and the Audi A1 40TFSI. It also fits EA888.3 + 4 engines with an air mass sensor.

This APR open air intake is designed to improve intake airflow towards the turbocharger. Its shape is as smooth as possible, minimizing losses in the intake tract. The included air filter allows up to 22% more airflow compared to the original filter. It also has 20% more filter surface area.

The section after the air filter has also been optimized and has a smoother shape than the original, resulting in less loss. The connection diameter is a full 127mm. This means you have a 260% larger intake surface area compared to the original intake pipe.

You can connect the original air mass sensor to this intake, which then connects smoothly. This eliminates any additional internal swirl. If you don't have an air mass meter, an adapter is included, allowing installation on the intake pipe or an aftermarket intake hose.

The heat shield and intake pipe are made of a material consisting of fiberglass and polypropylene. This effectively retains heat and prevents it from reaching the filter. The intake is supplied with cool air through the original air duct, ensuring a constant flow of cool air while driving.

The intake is easy to install and uses the original connection points.

After installing this intake, you'll hear a strong intake sound from the turbo and notice an increase in power and torque. This intake can be installed on original engines as well as on engines that have been chip-tuned.
