The Mercedes M139 intake system for the A45, CLA45, and GLA45 is designed to provide the turbo with a smoother airflow. By redesigning the system and creating a much more direct path, the turbo can build pressure with less air resistance and thus reach the desired boost pressure faster. This intake system is developed to offer the highest possible flow with the lowest possible intake temperatures, resulting in a net performance gain. The unobstructed airflow also makes the turbo sound more audible, contributing to the dynamics of the driving experience.
The Eventuri difference
The Mercedes M139 Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housing, which enables an aerodynamically efficient airflow from the filter to the turbo. Not just a conical filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that utilizes the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow to reduce resistance on the turbo. The Eventuri A45/CLA45 intake system consists of several components designed for a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber without fiberglass, allowing us to achieve a smooth inner surface for optimal airflow.
