This Forge Motorsport Intercooler is suitable for the Suzuki Swift V (AZ) 1.4 Sport with the K14C and K14D engines (from 20147).

When you start tuning the Suzuki Swift Sport or drive in warm climates, you will quickly notice that the car does not use all its power. This is because intake temperatures rise quickly during sporty driving. During various tests at track days and on the circuit, it has been shown that the original cooler on an original engine can reach very high and even critical intake temperatures. In response, the ECU will limit the engine to prevent knocking. You will then lose a lot of power, and the engine will not run smoothly at that moment. This can even cause engine damage.

To prevent this problem and keep the engine in better condition, Forge Motorsport has developed an upgraded intercooler that significantly lowers intake temperatures. This not only prevents the ECU from limiting the engine but also increases engine power and torque.

This Forge Motorsport upgrade intercooler has no less than 75% more cooling volume and 25% more frontal cooling surface compared to the original intercooler.

With a 1-to-1 swap (without tuning), this cooler achieves a gain of 9 hp and 9 Nm extra torque on the dyno, while keeping intake temperatures much lower. The temperatures remain much lower and more stable, even after multiple dyno pulls.

Combined with the Forge Motorsport intake upgrade and a chiptune, the power gain is even higher.

Despite the larger cooling volume, after installation you will not experience turbo lag, and intake temperatures will be much lower. This promotes engine longevity and performance.

The intercooler can be replaced 1-to-1 with the original cooler without any modifications. It is therefore also easy to switch back to the original intercooler later on.
